This past June our Chair and CEO Jonathan Niemczak provided a virtual 45-minute presentation to the Alberta Teachers’ Association on the history of the Pride Movement in Canada as part of their Pride Month programming. The presentation covered the various national events throughout Canada from the 1950s to the 1990s that were pivotal to the national Pride Movement as well as an overview of the modern Pride Movement from the 2000s to the present day.
